Finland, New Zealand, Thuringia and many more – One cancellation after another. All over the world, rally fans are going through a hard time, like everybody else who is affected by restrictions in the current situation.
The Lausitz-Rallye is already three and a half months ago. And I am still completely euphoric. Not as much because of the colourful cars – okay, they were rather cool too – unfortunately I just did not get much of the action. No, it is something more fundamental that still touches me.
Skoda Deutschland-Pilot Fabian Kreim won the International ADMV-Lausitz-Rallye for the second time in his Fabia R5 Evo. Anders Gröndal in a Fiesta R5 Mk2 secured the second position despite technical problems and the second-place winners in 2013, Janis Vorobjovs / Ivo Pukis (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII) from Latvia, climbed the podium again.
Two more days, then the Lausitz is again in rally fever. For all fans we have some important information.
Bernd G., stage commander at the Lausitz-Rallye, shares with us his passion, his duties before and after the special stage and why “watching colourful cars” is only marginally possible.
